Notable features of Tenby include over 2 miles of sandy beaches and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, part of Britain's only coastal National Park. Boats sail from Tenby's harbour to the nearby Caldey Island, while St Catherine's Island is linked to the town at low tide. Oakwood Theme Park is about 20 minutes drive away and will keep the kids occupied for the day. The town is served by Tenby railway station.

Sport in Tenby

Sport in Tenby revolves round the tight-knit welsh community and the choppy waters at its disposable. Tenby RFC are the resident rugby club and have been in operation, in some form or another, since the late 19th century. They compete in division 4 of the West Wales league and act as a feeder club for the notoriously successful Llanelli Scarlets. Surfing is the other main pastime of the Tenby locals, with wannabe Kelly Slater’s of all ages rushing down to the south-facing beach to catch the waves.
